The Collins Aerospace Parcel B Project was located in Chula Vista, CA along the harbor. It included the demolition of 1.9 Million Gross Square footage of building structures varying in height from 15’ to 60’ tall. AMG was contracted to perform the asbestos and lead abatement and demolition of all structures above the slab. Multiple excavators ranging from 30,000 LBS up to 170,000 LBS equipped with thumb, shear, and processing attachments were used to demolish the structures. AMG completed its contract within the schedule, budget and achieved a 95% recycling rate.
